In 2018, our firm began the arduous process of overcoming financial and accounting deficits borne from rapid growth of our medium-sized law firm. While we knew changes were necessary, we had no idea how or where to start.
Our relationship with Tronconi Segarra & Associates began as a complete top-down assessment to be used as a roadmap for implementing and measuring change. Their Client Accounting Services (CAS) team (now called SingleSource Accounting) worked hand-in-hand with our staff to review the accounting department’s procedures, processes, and systems. They then presented an assessment and plan of action to our Partners, broken down into phases, prioritization and deliverables for each phase. The CAS team worked closely with our staff during each aspect of our transition to ensure success. Having a full-service team of specialists readily available to plug into our firm or advise on specific scenarios was a tremendous value-add. Very quickly we were rebuilding our chart of accounts, creating better integration between our systems and QuickBooks, and identifying and improving inefficient processes.
